Michael Lent is a writer/producer based in Hollywood. He is the author of five books including the newly released On Thin Ice, published by Disney’s Hyperion. His book “Christmas Letters from Hell” was the #1 holiday humor book for 2007. He was also a writer on the XBox 360 sequel game to Vigilante 8 titled “Arcade” and the forthcoming game “SCAPS.” He was producer on the movies WITCHES’ NIGHT, NAKED IN AMERICA and the award winning HARD SCRAMBLED.

Lent was a researcher on the Dirty Harry Ultimate Collector’s Edition DVD Set released in 2008.

He is on the Board of Directors of the non-profit group Audio Theater for Our Troops and is an Advisory Board member of the Montecito Fine Arts College of Design.

From 1997-2007, he was a featured columnist and contributing editor for Creative Screenwriting Magazine.

Lent holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Miami and has taught or lectured at UCLA, Chapman University, University of Miami and Santa Barbara City College. Michael has been a finalist judge for a dozen film and screenplay competitions.
